It’s time to trade in your button down shirts and khakis to live vicariously through either Tony Stark or a maniacal cyber-criminal. Start the summer entertainment frenzy early this weekend with Iron Man and Grand Theft Auto IV. Both have entered the scene with rave reviews- GTA IV is near perfection, and Iron Man is being uttered in the same breath as superhero staples like Batman and Spiderman. With such quality entertainment, how’s a guy to choose? That’s the question plaguing entertainment analysts this week, according to CNN.COM (by the way, how do you get THAT job)?

Edward Woo, a research analyst specializing in media and interactive entertainment at Wedbush Morgan Securities, said the game’s release date and widespread reach could negatively affect opening box office numbers for “Iron Man.”

“People on Friday or Saturday might find themselves at home playing this game instead of at the Cineplex,” Woo said. ” ‘Iron Man’ will still have a pretty good release, but intuitively, I think it’s got be impacted when both share a similar audience and genre.”
