The number one album on iTunes is Nas’s latest untitled work.  The album was originally slated to be titled Nigger but various external pressure caused Nas to change the title.  Publicity wise, the controversy over the album’s proposed title seems to have served its purpose.  People are curious as to what Nas has to say and based on the reviews I’ve seen, Nas has delivered.  Here is what Andy Gill of The Independent had to say:

Overall, Untitled is probably the most politically oriented rap album since the days of Public Enemy and The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy…with Untitled, Nas lays out enough plausible answers to accommodate the most unaccountable symptoms of America’s ailing body politic.
